The noise around US investing has gone quiet
Have you noticed?
The noise around #US investing has suddenly gone quiet!
A few months ago, it felt like every #finfluencer had become an expert on the S&P 500.

"#India is overvalued."
"The real money is in the US."
"You're missing out."
Today?
Silence.
Because that's how asset classes work.
We don't fall in love with asset classes.
We fall in love with their recent returns.
I've seen this movie before:
Crypto.
Gold.
Silver.
Small Caps.
US Equities.
Every asset class gets its moment in the sun.
And every bull run creates a new generation of experts.
The truth is:
No asset class can remain the 'topper' every year.
The topper will keep changing.
Which leaves investors with two choices:
Option 1:
Keep changing your strategy every year!
Chase the latest winner.
Experience #FOMO, anxiety, and the occasional regret of selling one winner to buy another.
Option 2:
Accept that you cannot predict the #future.
Build conviction in a few asset classes.
Follow a sensible #AssetAllocation.
And then do something very difficult:
'Stay boring'.
Here's the interesting part:
Over a long investing journey, both approaches may end up delivering surprisingly similar returns.
But one of them comes with significantly more stress, anxiety, and sleepless nights.
That's why I've always believed:
#Diversification is an admission of Humility.
It is your way of saying:
"I don't know what will outperform next, and I'm okay with that."
#Money is made in silence.
#Noise is made on #SocialMedia.
Learn to distinguish between the two.
