After two days at Global Fintech Fest, the Statue of Unity

After 2 hectic days at Global Fintech Fest, I decided to unwind and headed towards the Statue of Unity Official.

And honestly, I was blown away.

Yes, the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is spectacular.
But what impressed me more was everything around it.

Well-laid roads.
Exceptionally clean surroundings.
Massive lawns.
Beautifully planned spaces.
Excellent crowd management.
Even with thousands of visitors, it never felt chaotic.
The free shuttle services made it surprisingly easy to move between attractions.

And there is much more than the statue:
A well-curated museum talking about the life of Sardar, the Unification of India, the Sardar Sarovar Dam, and the Freedom Struggle.
A massive zoo, with white Tigers!
Multiple gardens, from Cactus to Butterflies!
Narmada Maha Aarti, just beware of Crocodiles!
And then came the laser show, which leaves you spellbound!

It made me think about something we often do in India:
We underestimate what we have at home.
We are quick to talk about world-class experiences abroad, but sometimes don't explore what's being built right here.

I went to the Statue of Unity expecting it to be another tourist attraction.
I came back thinking about how thoughtfully the entire experience has been designed.
You could easily spend more than a day here and still have things left to explore.

Have you visited the #StatueofUnity?
How was your experience?
