My four-year-old phone still looks new

"You got a new phone!" my colleague exclaimed. I smiled and replied, "Nope, it’s my 4-year-old mobile, I just removed the cover!"
His next reaction?
"But it doesn't look like an #iPhone. Never knew #Android could last this long! Isn’t it slow?"
Well, if taken care of properly, Android phones can last 3+ years without issues, at least mine have lasted more for sure!

So How do I keep my Phone Running like new?
- #FactoryReset Every 6 Months – A fresh start clears unnecessary clutter and boosts performance drastically.
- No #SocialMedia Apps – I am active on LinkedIn, Facebook, but I don't have any of these apps on my Mobile. These apps bloat over time, slow down performance, and constantly track your activity. The browser works just fine!
- No #Shopping Apps – No Amazon, No Myntra! They not only consume space and memory but also nudge you into impulse purchases. Their mobile websites work just as well, saving both phone storage & money!
- Quarterly App #Cleanup – Over time, we download dozens of apps but hardly use many. I review my apps every 3 months and uninstall anything unnecessary. With 5G, reinstalling an app when needed takes seconds!

By following these simple steps, I’ve stretched my phone’s life to 4 years with no lag or battery issues, resulting in -
- Saving #money by not buying mobiles frequently
- Less #ewaste = A small but meaningful contribution to the #environment.
- Less dependency on China – Even if your phone is "Made in India," most parts are still imported!

How long have you been using your phone? Do you follow any hacks to make it last longer or do you buy one as soon as the phone slows down!
