Stopped your SIPs because of the noise?
Recently, I met a young professional during my #carpool working at an Algo trading firm.
Our conversation moved towards #investments. Since his employer restricts direct #equity investing, he primarily invests through #MutualFunds.

But he told me he had stopped investing for over a year.
Why?
The constant doomsday narrative on #SocialMedia and muted market returns had made him nervous.
Most of his money was now sitting in bank accounts and FDs.
Many investors, especially newbies who haven't experienced market volatility, react in a similar manner.
Markets fall → Social media amplifies the fear → We stop investing → Then wait for the “right time” to restart!
But when is the right time?
Nobody knows!
Equity will test your patience.
But if your goal is 10–15 years away, should a short-term blip change your strategy?
And if your goal is short-term, perhaps equity wasn't the right place for that money anyway.
There will always be someone predicting a crash.
Someone predicting a rally.
Someone selectively presenting data to create #FOMO.
That's noise!
You can't control the market.
You can control your #AssetAllocation, your #investment process, and, most importantly, your #emotions.
Automate where possible.
Invest according to your goals.
And don't let every market headline rewrite your financial plan.
#MoneyMinusNoise is about exactly this:
Understand the goal. Ignore the noise. Follow the process.
Because successful investing isn't about predicting the market. It's about controlling yourself.
