Will silver hit ₹3 lakh a kg? I don't know

“Will #Silver hit ₹3 lakh per kg next year?”
This was the question one of my cousins recently asked me.
My honest answer, as always: I don’t know.
“But every #finfluencer says silver will touch at least ₹2.5 lakh next year, if not ₹3 lakh!”
I smiled and asked a simple counter-question:
👉 If this is a near-guaranteed 25% return in one year, how much money has that influencer actually invested in silver?
…Silence.

This is a familiar pattern whenever any asset class starts running up.
As prices rise, the noise gets louder.
Influencers, self-proclaimed analysts, chart readers, even the next-door uncle - everyone suddenly knows the future.
Predictions become bolder, timelines shorter, and urgency higher.
The real goal? Create #FOMO.

What most investors fail to ask is a basic question:
If someone is so confident about massive upside, why aren’t they all-in themselves?
Why are they busy selling “masterclasses” for ₹99 instead?

The uncomfortable truth is simple:
👉 No one can predict the future prices of assets with certainty.
👉 Forecasting exact numbers is a futile exercise.
👉 But we love comforting stories and quick-rich dreams.

Whether silver touches ₹2.5 lakh, ₹3 lakh, or neither, one thing is already certain:
The #influencer has got the #eyeballs, the engagement, and the #money.
While the followers are left holding hopes… and sometimes, losses.
