Toxic work culture and ageism: the omitted health risks

While COVID and lifestyle factors are valid contributors, let’s talk about the two important factors conveniently omitted: #Toxic #WorkCulture and #Ageism!
- Toxic Work Culture
Let’s be honest — the biggest health hazard for working professionals today isn’t just food or pollution. It’s #stress.
I met a lady in my #Carpool who worked even on May 1st — Labour Day. Why? Her company “forgot” to list it as a holiday.
She cribbed, of the 10 mandatory holidays, most fall on weekends. And the Smart Founder says, you can leave if you have issues with the company policies!
This pressure isn’t just a #startup problem.
Remember #Anna, the techie who tragically passed away due to burnout?
Many shared her story, but few remember it today. Please use Google to find out more about her.
#Burnout is real. The cost is human.

- Ageism in the Workplace
Another silent killer of well-being is invisibility post 50. Talented professionals suddenly find themselves sidelined. Hiring slows, layoffs increase, and confidence takes a hit.
And then we expect these same folks to show up cheerfully at #alumni meets
Let’s face it — institutions value stars, not survivors.

And #Vaccines? Really?
Blaming vaccines for reduced life expectancy without scientific backing is irresponsible at best. Before making such claims, how about disclosing the clinical research and long-term research behind his products?

What do you think are the other reasons for 'early Alumni meets'?
