Did they need it, or did they buy the hype?
Did they need them, or did they buy into the hype?
That's how modern #consumerism works.

We don't just buy products anymore.
We buy stories.
We buy lifestyles.
We buy the feeling of being associated with someone we admire.
And celebrities know this very well.
Before clicking "Buy Now", ask yourself one question:
Would I still buy this product if the celeb's name wasn't attached to it?
If the answer is No, perhaps you're buying the celebrity, not the shoe.
Now imagine this happening across categories.
A new phone.
Limited edition sneakers.
Premium watches.
Luxury perfumes.
#Influencer merchandise.
Individually, none of these purchases seem life-changing.
Together, they quietly destroy your monthly savings.
Many of these purchases are funded through #CreditCards, #EMIs, or #BNPL.
That's where aspiration slowly turns into a #DebtTrap.
Ironically, while consumers keep upgrading their lifestyle...
Their #EmergencyFund remains incomplete.
Their investments are postponed.
Their #FinancialIndependence moves one step further away.
#MoneyMinusNoise.
Every purchase has an opportunity cost.
The ₹8,000 you spend today could have been another step towards your emergency fund, your child's education, or financial independence.
Before buying the next trending product, ask yourself:
"Am I buying something I need or am I paying to feel part of someone else's success story?"
